Buffalo, New York, USA, 5 March 2018: Specified Air Solutions (SAS), a manufacturer of semi-custom HVAC equipment, announced the formation of two new divisions, Dehumidified Air Solutions (DAS) and Dehumidified Air Services (DASV), to provide indoor pool dehumidification design, manufacturing and equipment services in North America, the company said in a Press communiqué.
According to SAS, it acquired three indoor pool mechanical dehumidification brands – Dectron, PoolPak and Seresco – in the last 18 months and now operates them under DAS. Charley Brown, CEO and President, SAS, said, “With the combined strength, shared services and market resources of the dehumidifier industry’s top three brands, DAS is positioned to deliver trouble-free, state-of-the-art indoor pool dehumidification systems and services.”
Brown further said an ongoing challenge of the dehumidification industry has been after-sales service, maintenance and support. Brown explained that DASV now solves this issue by combining and expanding the service and technical support teams of all three dehumidifier brands, to create a single national network of highly trained, factory-direct service personnel, who are capable of servicing every region of the country, from a local office. Brown added that DASV will support and augment the existing service divisions of DAS’s authorised manufacturer representatives.
Brown also said that DASV will expand the use of its proprietary WebSentry Internet monitoring control systems, to further differentiate the DAS brands, as well as amplify their service and remote trouble-shooting capabilities.
