Local manufacturers show growing interest in solar energy for HVAC equipment to address emerging demands, official says

Istanbul, Turkey, 21 March 2018: Demand for energy-efficient solutions is undeniable, said Mohit Kumar, Senior Sales Engineer, Turkish Trade Center. Drawing on his observations about trends driving the HVACR market, Kumar said that people are becoming more concerned about energy savings. He also said that Turkish manufacturers are adapting to address this growing need and there has been a move among Turkish manufacturers to promote solar energy equipment, as well as explore how it can be related with HVAC processes. “We are looking forward to meeting solar panel standards with [the] international market,” Kumar said.

Speaking on the competitive advantage of Turkish products, Kumar emphasised that local manufacturers are able to meet performance levels in Europe, owing to their technical know-how, based on local manufacturers’ experience in supplying products that are compliant with the European market’s stringent regulations.
