UAE, May 23: Hormann has introduced a high-speed door, V 2515 Food L, as part of its product line for warehouse applications in the food industry, the company said through a Press communiqué. The product features side guides that are particularly easy to clean, said Darius Khanloo, Managing Director of Hormann (Middle East and Africa).
“It is suitable for all applications where hygiene and food safety are paramount,” Khanloo said. “Since it is made entirely of stainless steel, the door can be very easily cleaned with high-pressure cleaning systems and water. And above all, no counter weights or springs complicate the cleaning of the frame.”
Khanloo said the high-speed roller door, intended for wet areas in the warehouse, is incorporated with a fabric curtain and V2A stainless steel frame. The door operator, he added, is fully enclosed in a spray-water protected cover, and it meets the IP65 protection category of standards.
