ASHRAE Qatar Oryx Chapter endorses the event

Doha, Qatar: ASHRAE Qatar Oryx Chapter has announced that the Qatar HVAC Contracting Conference 2016  will be held from December 6 to 7, 2016, at Intercontinental Doha, Qatar.

According to the announcement, HVAC makes up 70% of building maintenance costs in Qatar, and 50% of the energy consumption is due to air conditioning alone. With the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and other international mega-events fast approaching, Qatar, it said, is making HVAC investment central to its cost reduction strategy for upcoming projects.

The conference, the announcement said, will provide an opportunity to network with key developers, contractors and consultants, who are actively involved in upcoming projects, to discuss how to overcome the market’s HVAC challenges, establish strategic partnerships and work together to help Qatar achieve its cooling and energy-efficiency goals.

The event, the announcement informed, is supported by KAHRAMAA, and will see strong participation from the ASHRAE Oryx Qatar Chapter, KEO International Consultants, Drake & Scull, AEB, Marafeq Qatar, CDCT, EGEC, Astad Project Management, Mechatronics, Worley Parsons, Paragon Trading, Mannai Corporation and many more.
