eurammon symposium to discuss the future of natural refrigerants in food and retail industry

Frankfurt/Main, Germany: eurammon has announced that internationally renowned experts are participating in the ongoing eurammon symposium on June 23-24, 2016, in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, to discuss the future of the HVACR industry, in addition to the legal framework in the European Union, current market trends and future-oriented application examples in the field of food refrigeration. The theme for this year’s event is – ‘Path into a green future – natural cooling in the food and retail industry’, with a focus on supermarkets, retail stores and the complete supply chain, the announcement added.

At the event, the announcement highlighted, experts will give an overview of the currents status of the industry and present innovative case studies. The announcement revealed that presenters, such as Carsten Hoch from TÜV SÜD, Kenneth B Madsen from Danfoss and Rui Silva from Sistavac, will throw light on the consequences of European regulations on the use of natural refrigerants, give an overview of the newest technological developments and report from operators’ perspective. Current projects involving ammonia, propane and CO2 will further illustrate how refrigerants can be used even under extreme conditions, added the announcement.

Furthermore, eurammon informed that an interactive workshop on the second day of the event will give the participants an opportunity to actively engage themselves with international experts from the refrigeration and air conditioning industry to discuss current challenges in the food and retail industry, and work towards concepts and solutions.
