AMCA to launch Air System Engineering and Technology Conference–Middle East

Arlington Heights, Illinois, USA, 15 January 2019: The Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) is launching an annual engineering conference on air systems in the Middle East, with global speakers, useful educational activities, networking opportunities and more, the body announced in a Press communiqué. The 2019 Air System Engineering and Technology Conference–Middle East (ASET-ME) will be held on January 27, 2019, at The H Hotel Dubai, the communiqué said.

Seating for ASET-ME is limited to the first 125 registrants and registration is now open, the communiqué said. Sessions will be conducted by industry experts, including ASHRAE Fellows, codes and standards leaders and local industry thought-leaders, the communiqué further said. Networking and exhibition opportunities are available throughout the conference, the communiqué added.

According to AMCA, the schedule of Events for ASET-ME, on January 27, 2019, is as follows:

11:30 – 13:30: Registration, Lunch, and Plenary: Leading Transformation in the Green Building Industry, Habiba Al Marashi – Vice Chair, Emirates Green Building Council

13:30-13:45: Break – Exhibition Tables open

13:45 – 15:00: High-Performance Air Systems in New and Existing Buildings, Jeff Boldt, PE, LEED AP, HBDP – Principal/Director of Innovation and Quality, IMEG/KJWW

15:00 – 15:30: Break – Exhibition Tables open

15:30 – 16:45: Specification Practice for Green Buildings: Drawing and Holding the Line, Hernando Miranda, PE – Sole Proprietor, Soltierra Consulting

16:45 – 17:00: Closing Remarks

17:00 – 19:00: Networking Reception and visit to Exhibition Tables.
