According to Trane, some of the changes implemented at the Daimler Building included replacing existing chillers, fresh air-handling units and pumps with new high-efficiency solutions, and adding a centralised exhaust system, heat wheels, heat pipes, and a Trane chiller plant manager to ensure that systems ran at optimum energy and operational efficiency.
